Did you know?

The word Paul uses for "guard" here was a military term for a garrison stationed to protect a city. He's not offering a vague calm — he's promising a standing guard over your mind the moment you actually hand your worry over in prayer.

Philippians 4:6-7 NIV

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

What are you carrying right now that you haven't actually handed over in prayer yet?
