These terms govern your use of the Did You Know Ministries website and its prayer, devotional, and community features. By registering an account or using this site, you agree to them.

What this platform is

Did You Know Ministries is a faith community platform: a daily devotional message, a Bible reading plan, Bible learning modules, a Bible quiz, and a way to connect with a Prayer Buddy or Prayer Warrior for prayer support. It is not a counseling service, a medical service, or a substitute for professional help.

Prayer is always free

No one representing this ministry will ever ask you for money, food, gifts, airtime, or anything of value in exchange for prayer. If anyone claiming to represent us does, please do not give them anything, and report it to us immediately via WhatsApp or Chat to Admin.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You're responsible for keeping your password secure.
• You must be old enough, under your local law, to agree to these terms yourself, or have a parent/guardian's permission.
• We may suspend or remove an account that abuses the platform, harasses another user, or violates the safety commitments above.

Content you submit

Prayer requests, testimonies, and profile information you submit remain yours, but you grant us permission to use them for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy — matching, delivering, and (for testimonies you submit for publication) displaying them on the site after they're reviewed and approved. You agree not to submit anything unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate — this platform is used by children as well as adults.

Prayer Buddies and Prayer Warriors

Volunteers who register as a Prayer Buddy or Prayer Warrior commit to praying for requests sent to them, in good faith. Before anyone can receive requests, they must accept a written code of conduct and provide a reference or known church affiliation — we do not independently verify this, and it is not a substitute for your own judgment. If you ever feel unsafe or pressured by another user, stop the conversation, use the Block or Report feature on their profile, and let us know directly.

Age requirement for one-on-one matching

Everyone is welcome to the devotional, reading plan, learn modules, and quiz, at any age. Connecting one-on-one with a Prayer Buddy or Prayer Warrior — either as a volunteer or as someone requesting prayer from a specific individual — requires being 18 or older. If you're under 18, your prayer requests go to our moderated ministry team instead of an individual volunteer.

Donations

Donations are processed by PayFast. Once a donation is confirmed, it is generally non-refundable, except where required by law or at our discretion in cases of genuine error.

No warranty

This site is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it available and accurate, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we're not liable for outages, errors, or actions taken by other users of the platform.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
